Three Ways to Generate Traffic in Your Service-Based Biz Using Social Media

Sis, as a service-based business, generating traffic into your sales funnel is crucial for gaining visibility and attracting leads. However, with so many channels and tactics available, it can be overwhelming to determine which strategies will work best for your business. This blog post will explore three practical ways to generate traffic for service-based companies using social media.

Get Strategic

Get super clear on which platforms your target audience uses, and prioritize showing up there the most! You may want to prioritize LinkedIn if you’re an education consultant primarily working B2B (business to business). If your target audience is millennials, you may want to prioritize Instagram.
Here is a link to a great resource with additional considerations when deciding which platform is best for you. (Hint: you’ll want to do some market research).
Also, this does not mean you cannot be present on multiple platforms. The core idea here is to prioritize the platform that consistently puts you in front of your target audience.

Go Live

I always say, “people don’t buy from businesses. They buy from people.” This means you’ve got to show up in front of your following. Going live builds trust and credibility with your target audience. It allows them to connect with who you are as a person and professional.
And the best part about it is that all social media platforms allow users to go live and connect with their followers, yep, even LinkedIn!

Slide in the DMs

Don’t be afraid to send your followers a direct message. Also known as social selling, reaching out via direct message helps foster relationships and trust.
And just like emails, all messages sell, but not all direct messages sell (or are pitching a particular service). An example is welcome messages to new followers. This is a great way to begin nurturing a potential client relationship.
💡Pro-Tip – Invite new followers to join your email list as a CTA in your welcome DM.

Conclusion

Driving traffic from social media must be a part of your sales strategy, sis! And while it can be challenging, it isn’t impossible with a strategy!
