But let’s start by going wayyyy back…
I was born a hustler. I started my entrepreneurial journey at nine, selling snacks at school. When I was in middle school Cassidy (a popular rapper of the day) dropped ‘I’m a Hustla’. And on the track, he said ‘I can sell salt to a slug,” and I KNEW he was talking about me.
I carried that bar with me as I hustled my way through high school, selling snacks, holding down a part-time job, and joining almost every extracurricular on campus, all while remaining an honor student.
The #hustlehard mindset served me for most of my life until it didn’t. I spent the first near decade of my career as an educator. And my no-days-off mindset wasn’t translating into the impact I wanted to have on my students or my bank account.
